Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Reel Video Editor to join our creative team in a full-time capacity. This on-site role, based in Gurgaon, involves the end-to-end creation of engaging and high-quality short videos, specifically optimized for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram. Core responsibilities include generating creative concepts, editing videos, integrating compelling visuals and sound, maintaining brand aesthetics, and collaborating with the marketing and design team to support our dynamic campaigns
Qualifications
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
Experience in creating short-form, attention-grabbing videos for social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions to enhance viewer engagement
Creative mindset with skills in conceptualizing and implementing unique video ideas
Basic knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, and sound design
Understanding of social media trends and ability to adapt content to fit various platforms
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with the creative and marketing teams
A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Experience with eCommerce or digital marketing video projects is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Role & Responsibilities
- Editing & Assembly: Execute the full editing process for short-form vertical videos (Reels/TikToks), including cutting, pacing, and assembling raw footage into a cohesive narrative.
- Post-Production Enhancements: Apply color correction, sound design, and basic motion graphics to ensure a polished, professional finish.
- Platform Optimization: Tailor content specifically for Facebook and Instagram, ensuring all videos meet platform-specific requirements (aspect ratios, durations, and safe zones).
- Concept Generation: Brainstorm and develop unique, attention-grabbing video ideas that align with marketing goals.
- Trend Integration: Monitor and leverage current social media trends, audio tracks, and transitions to keep the brand’s content relevant and "viral-ready."
- Visual Storytelling: Use creative pacing and transitions to hook viewers within the first few seconds and maintain high engagement throughout the video.
- Aesthetic Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all video assets.
- Quality Control: Ensure every piece of content meets high-quality standards with a keen eye for detail in framing, text overlays, and audio clarity.
- Asset Management: Organize and manage raw footage and project files for easy retrieval and future use.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Partner with the marketing and design teams to align video content with broader digital campaigns.
- E-commerce Integration: Create high-converting video content specifically designed to support digital marketing and e-commerce objectives.
- Feedback Loop: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine video drafts and achieve the desired campaign impact.
